A sad story
The Australians are not even close to what they were in the early part of the last decade.They won 3 world cups in a row from '99 to 2007.Of course I am talking Cricket and I am not at all interested about the aussies.I sm referring to the Indian team of the same time which used to beat the aussies regularly at a time when everyone found it uneasy.The great wall,the master blaster,the dada,the viru is not to be seen now.Now the team is full of youth-the flamboyant Kohli,the captain cool Dhoni,the new wall Pujara etc etc etc.The performance of the current team is much less than a flop.The sudden extermination of the experience dand the overflow of the youth has been an irony to the expectations.I don't remember the last time India won an overseas test series. It is high time that we start copying the aussies.I think they regularly pick up excellent players from domestic cricket. If India had given a little bit more respect to the seniors,it would have been more helpful to the juniors.But in my opinion India has taken the wrong path.The resurrection should begin soon.Unless that happens,the face of the current team face is such that even the aged Tendulkar can replace the ill Kohli.
